We work across bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, large commercial fitouts and anywhere else you may need a plumber. So whether it’s a new build or you’re sprucing up what’s already there, we can get the job done. Below are some of our most recent jobs and some old favourites to give you an idea of all the different things we can do.

Tiny by Taylor creates bespoke tiny homes here in the Wairarapa. We work with them to fit infinity gas supplies to their amazing moveable cabins and in one model we even installed a miniature hot water cylinder with wood burning stove.

The challenge of working in small spaces and unusual spaces lets us flex our creative muscles and also tests our workmanship, we have to make sure that everything we do can withstand the pressure of being on the road and on the move.

Owner of the company, Taylor, is passionate about quality work so we’re pleased to be his choice as the exclusive plumbing and gasfitting supplier for Tiny by Taylor.

The Tuhirangi Rugby Club were struggling to get a consistent hot water supply after games when they had teams showering and a kitchen running at the club.

They called us to sort out their supply problems and to give them the capacity they needed we fitted two commercial Infinity gas units for the showers and a regular one to serve the rest of the building.

The lads are stoked and club captain Scotty McDonald had this to say about the job:

“Jordan from MPG has been awesome to work with through the whole process of installing our gas showers at our clubrooms. Communication, quality of work and cost were all exemplary, finished job is outstanding.”

P&O Construction

Andrew and Will at P&O Construction were sick of hiring portaloos for their building sites. The portaloos needed regular emptying which increased the cost on top of the hire fees and were unpleasant for their team to use.

Together we came up with a different temporary toilet solution, one that used proper porcelain fittings and hooked into the sewer connection on-site. The building team created the shed and we did the plumbing and drains.

Now the team and all the sub-contractors have a cleaner, more pleasant bathroom to use without the on-going hire and maintenance costs of having a portaloo.

Just a little bit of Kiwi ingenuity goes a long way.

New Builds

We work on a lot of new builds and this was one of our favourites. Our client had chosen high spec fittings that gave a really amazing finish. He also saved himself time and energy by using us to install the kitchen and bathroom fittings as well as the woodburner. This is what he had to say about the work:

“Jordan and his team were fantastic to deal with. Especially for myself as first time builder, and in a project managing position. Great communication, adaptable to changing plans and most importantly did a stellar job all within allocated timeframes and price.”

What people say

Without a doubt I would rate Jordan as one of the best plumbers in the Wairarapa, he's a superb plumber. In fact I employed him to do work on my own property and he rates right up there for me.

Jordan and his team at Martinborough Plumbing and Gas are our first choice in the Wairarapa. They turn up when they say they will and the quality of work is excellent. Highly recommended!
